For the 7th time, ISMAYA Live held Djakarta Warehouse Project 2015 (DWP15) on 11-12 December 2015. This year, DWP15 brought massive line-up from various electronic music genre to perform on special stages. Day 1 11 December 2015 was the first day of DWP15. Once we entered the venue at JIEXPO Kemayoran, the magnificent stage of Garudha Land welcomed the crowd. Another special stages also ready, Mad Decent Special Stage and The Darker Side. Next stage was The Darker Side, Mikey Moran behind the deck entertained the crowd with House tracks and made them dance to the beat. Finished with Mikey Moran, we moved to Mad Decent Special Stage. Justin Oh was on stage. South Korea-based DJ dropped some tracks that familiar to the crowd. Performances in Garudha Land was the highlight of the night. First of all, performance debut of Jack U in Asia. Duo by Skrillex and Diplo was most awaited by the crowd of DWP15. Open their performance with “Take U There”, Jack U made the crowd dance nonstop from the beginning to the end. They also played “Where Are U Now” which already a crowd’s favorite. After Jack U, it was Axwell /\ Ingrosso came next. Former members of Swedish House Mafia finally came to Jakarta. They indeed played their songs during their time at Swedish House Mafia, along with songs from their new album, such as “Sun Is Shining” and “Something New”. Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso gave it all for their first performance in Jakarta. The performance brought lots of memories from Swedish House Mafia time with Steve Angello. Performance at Garudha Land was ended by Armin Van Buuren. Armin played most of his hits, including from his new album and the crowd danced like crazy. Not only in Garudha Land, in Mad Decent Special Stage, Major Lazer successfully brought the crowd on their feet and danced. When “Lean On” was played, the crowd went out of control and dance harder. Day 2 On 12 December 2015, the second day of DWP15, also offered the same madness as the first day. Mad Decent Special Stage changed its name to Neon Jungle and The Darker Side turned into Cosmic Station. We were heading to Neon Jungle to watch Aay played some House tracks that known as his specialize. Then we moved to Cosmic Station to watched Osvaldo Nugroho. Osvaldo opened is performance with one of national anthem called “Padamu Negeri” continued with his original track “Hanya Untukmu”. After those two songs, Osvaldo dropped Trance tracks and the crowd started to dance. He also shared some merchandise from on stage. Osvaldo finished his set, March Mayhem took over the deck. The duo consists of Marcel Chandrawinata and Anza Mauriza. They played familiar tracks that made the crowd sing and dance. Still form Cosmic Station, DREE played Trance tracks. Once again, the crowd danced to every track he played. When people talking about DREE, it will guarantee that he will deliver great performance. The performance at DWP15 showed how DREE had a loyal fan base of his works. In Neon Jungle stage, Jevin Julian also made the crowd jump and dance. His performance at The Remix (a competition for remixer) made the crowd wondered how he will perform in a big festival. This year was the second DWP for Jevin. In 2012, Jevin played at DWP12 with his partner in dubstep group Massive Kontrol. Bottlesmoker came next also entertained the crowd. Their songs sounds different because they put some chiptunes melody in it. We moved over to Garudha Land to watch Galantis. The Swedish duo performance was one of the most wanted line-up this year. They dropped their hits such as “Gold Dust”, “Runaway (U & I)”, and “You”. Galantis also showcased their skills to played drum live on stage. We went back to Cosmic Station to saw Gabriel & Dresden performance. Their performance made the crowd remember the times from 4-5 years ago, even longer. Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden played their old tracks like “Tracking Treasure Down” and, as predicted, the crowd sang together. Sied Van Riel performed next. There was a bit of technical problem at the beginning of his set, but it didn’t made the crowd less enthusiastic to dance. Sied Van Riel directly dropped Trance tracks with high tempo. He didn’t gave the crowd a chance to take a break, as if he wanted to repay the technical problem at the beginning of his set. To close the night, we moved back to Garudha Land to watched Tiesto. After 2 years, finally Tiesto returned to Jakarta once again. Tiesto showed his class as a DJ by played tracks from various genre, started from trance, house, to hardstyle. His performance also accompanied by spectacular fireworks. In Neon Jungle, Headhunterz successfully entertained the fan of hardstyle. Headhunterz performance brought new sensation in DWP15 with his hardstyle tracks. The crowd seems not tired at all and still jump hard enjoying Headhunterz tracks. We do have some notes on DWP15. Dillon Francis, Duke Dumont and DVBBS cancelled their Asia Tour in last minutes, which made them have to cancel their performance in DWP15. The schedule also change because the organizer had to switch stages for some artists. This year security level were tighter than previous years, because the crowd need to pass 3 security gates and body checking. However, it didn’t lessen the enthusiast from the crowd to enjoy the party.
