Dineros DJ Hunt 2016

Dineros Management just held a prestigious event called DINEROS DJ HUNT 2016 Grand Final at Equinox Jakarta. This year, they have 7 finalists from Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, and Manado. After workshop sessions with experts, they finally ready to showcase their skill on 2 June 2016. The finalists are Rulis Starkiller (Jakarta), Yolla Titania (Jakarta), FRZ (Jakarta), Fyan VII (Bandung), Flamming (Manado) and Daud (Bali). Unfortunately, Daud from couldn’t join because of health issue. That leaves only 6 finalists to compete.

Before the main show, all finalists must enter the quarantine time from 31 May to 2 June 2016 in Jakarta. The finalists already been judged since quarantine and the result will be combine with the score from grand final show.

The grand final show was ready to search for this year’s winner. For this year, the finalists must show their mixing skills in front of judge panel and the crowd, since the DJ booth right in the middle of Equinox. The judges are respected DJs in Indonesia. They are Odotto, Mastagroove, Dimz, and IANNOW. The organizer also added representative from media as Ali from The Beat Jakarta joined the panel. Each finalists will get 10 minutes to show their skills to earn the title as winner in this competition.

Every finalists tried to give unique concept for their performance. Rulis Starkiller used skeleton costume while FRZ appeared as a person who will perform until his last breath.

Yolla Titania gave a message to stop violence against women, in regards of sexual abuse cases that happened across Indonesia.

​Fyan VII and Flamming showed great performance with their music choice.

Before the announcement, there were fashion show by Batik Ado. Also the performance from DJ Vanno. He dropped great tracks of R&B and Hip Hop that successfully pulled crowd to dance floor. When the judges came up on stage, that’s the time for result announcement.

​First award is Favorite Winner, voted online through Dineros website. The one who took the title is Fyan VII.

​The third winner is FRZ.

​Second spot goes to Yolla Titania.

​The winner of Dineros DJ Hunt 2016 is Talisa.
