Dutch house of Dance, Electronic Dance Music Celebration in Indonesia

Electric Ocean and Erasmus Huis present the first edition of “Dutch House of Dance” (DHOD), an event for the electronic music scene and electronic music lovers in Indonesia, at Erasmus Huis, Netherlands Embassy, in Jakarta on 8 - 9 October 2016

“With Dutch House of Dance (DHOD) we are celebrating the Dutch electronic music scene and the influence of Dutch DJ’s in the international dance scene. The event consists of an exciting dance party with top talent from Holland, seminars with key industry leaders and workshops delivered by Dutch experts in the field. This is a one of a kind event that opens up opportunities to anyone who is eager to learn more about the electronic music industry or is just looking for an amazing Dutch house party," stated Electric Ocean as the organizer.

The kick off of this two-day event is a seminar with speakers from world leading companies, such as Arthur Chin (Global Director Commerce and Strategic Partnerships of Alda Events), Hans Smith (Festival Manager of Pacha Festival), Mike Elderenbosch (Owner & Founder of Young Gunz) and Theo Geene (Dreamfields Festival). The seminar on 8 October will reveal how these influential Dutch companies operate; from organizing massive music festival experiences to scouting the next super DJ.

On the same day from 5pm onwards, a pool of Dutch talent, such as Alvita, Gathier, Joey Monroe, Patrix Johnson, and Shahrooz will hit the stage to bring you that Dutch festival vibe. Expect a true Dutch house party experience here, from decor to the Dutch electronic sound.

The series of exclusive DJ workshops, which have sold out this Tuesday (!), are led by Patrix Johnson, Alvita and Gathier and focus on teaching the audience everything there is to know about DJ’ing and producing. Clearly, the popularity of these activities show an extraordinary enthusiasm towards dance music.

DHOD will be held at Erasmus Huis, Netherlands Embassy, on Jl. Rasuna Said Kav S-3 Kuningan, Jakarta on 8-9 October 2016 and it is free. Visitors simply need to register online.
