Erasmus Huis Dance Event is a collaboration event between Dutch and Indonesian DJs. It’s a free entry all-ages event with a wide variety of programs. consisting of DJ live performances with mesmerizing visual and special effects, seminars & masterclasses, street art, photo expo, and a drop your demo opportunity for young talented dance music producers, at Erasmus Huis, the Netherlands Embassy, in Jakarta on 24th of August in 2019. The kick-off of the event are seminars with speakers from world leading organizations, namely: Karsten ter Hoeven (Head of Conference of Amsterdam Dance Event), Mike Elderenbosch (Creative Director at Young Gunz Muzic), Thijs van Gils (Label Manager of Yellow Claw’s Record Label), Darshan Pridhnani (CEO at HYPE Festival). The seminar reveals how these organizations operate; from organizing massive dance music conferences & festivals, how to run and manage a record label, to concepting and shaping one’s career.

The Erasmus Huis aims to promote Dutch culture, enable knowledge-sharing and stimulate international cultural cooperation. Our event, the Erasmus Huis Dance Event, is a perfect platform for our audience to learn about the Dutch dance music culture and to have a chance to network with industry professionals. Ninda Felina, Zushi, Thomas Newson, SIHK and Andy Samin will hit the stage with stunning live DJ performances with impressive special and visual effects. Ninda Felina has been DJ for almost 10 years. Ninda is also a person who loves the environment and has been taking trips into the jungle several times. There she created music by recording the sounds of animals and the forest itself. Her latest project is Save our Sounds which was created in the forests of West Papua. The project promotes forest protection through music and visuals. The sounds of nature that she collected were mixed into a dance track titled Birds of Paradise. Zushi started producing electronic music at the age of 15, quickly finding his way within the music industry. He graduated from the Herman Brood Academy (music production school known for graduates like Martin Garrix) and (co)produced several tracks which got released on labels like Wall Recordings, Armada, Sony, Zero Cool(Moti) and more. Zushi recently released ‘Favela Funk’ on Barong Family. Thomas Newson has made sizeable waves throughout the dance music community. With the support of artists such as Hardwell, Avicii, Tiësto, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Afrojack amongst others, Newson undoubtedly has the potential to be the heir to Holland’s house throne. SIHK played this year at the iconic Tomorrowland, Songkran, Its The Ship China. His explosive energy is well-known to any that have witnessed SIHK’s devastating live sets. SIHK’s own sound has been defined through 2 EP's on Yellow Claw's Barong Family, as well as through various singles, among them collaborations with rising French Star Aazar and Dutch label mate Mike Cervello. SIHK also worked with Rich Brian and NIKI as a producer. Andy Samin had his last show in 2018 as part of the DJ duo Mightyfools after touring the world for over 10 years. Now working as an A&R at Yellow Claw's Amsterdam based record label Barong Family, looking for the next big thing in music.
