 On 12 March 2019, we were invited to press conference of IAM DJ HUNT 2019 at Hotel Veranda. This is the fifth time the competition been held. Just like previous editions, IAM DJ HUNT will go on tour to various cities in Indonesia to find one winner from each city. The tour already started this month at Surabaya, then continue to Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, Bali, Batam, Medan, Banjarmasin, Bandung, Palembang, Semarang and finally Jakarta for grand final. The competition will be held every Saturday and Sunday. This year, IAM DJ HUNT have two categories, CDJ (Battle) and Controller (Club Mix). For each city until the grand final, there will be a workshop collaborate with Pioneer DJ Indonesia. So the contestant can have an opportunity for networking and sharing knowledge with fellow DJ. There are prizes for winners from both categories. Not only they will get an equipment, but they will represent Indonesia to compete with winners from Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Everybody can participate in this competition without age restriction. Every contestant have freedom to showcase their skills and their style. At the end of the press conference, there were showcase from last year winners, Kevin Adam (I AM DJ HUNT International Champion 2018) and Lionel (I AM DJ HUNT Indonesia Champion 2018).
