INSANE with Dada Life

When you heard the word “insane”, what’s the first thing that popped out in your mind? For us, the word means we can do anything out of the box. Literally. So when Colosseum Club announce they were having event called INSANE, of course we were expecting something cool.

For the second time, Colosseum Club hold a prestigious event called INSANE – Indoor Dance Music Festival 2015 on 13 November 2015. For this year’s event, they brought Dada Life. The Swedish duo well known to make a great and crazy party wherever they go. For this special event, Colosseum Club also presenting again Enter The Void, the room dedicated for Techno and House lovers.

Few days before the event, Colosseum Club announced through their social media that they will have a DADA LIFE EXPERIENCE. Clubbers recommended to use convenient shirt. As explained in their social media, a tunnel with blasted paint of rainbows prepared to welcome clubbers. Every clubbers came out from the tunnel full with glitters and colored paint. A fun way to start the party. When we arrived at the Main Hall, the floor covered with styrofoam and there were 2 trampolines at the left and right side of the stage. Also two small platforms prepared in the middle of the room.

As usual, the night was opened by Colosseum residents. First up, Beathoven. Reynald and MC Joey warmed up the room with some Progressive tracks. In the middle of the performance, two acrobat players came out and started to jump on both trampolines. After Beathoven, Trilions took over the deck.

At this opportunity, Trilions introduced new personnel, Marquee, who is replacing Osvaldo Nugroho. Together with Six Pratama and MC Rongkie, Marquee entertained the crowd. Marquee also showed that he has no difficulties to blend in with the remaining personnel of Trilions. For 90 minutes, Trilions dropped Progressive and Trance tracks before Dada Life finally performed.

Although there were technical problem at the beginning, Dada Life appeared in front of the crowd with their strong and fun personality. Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom welcome crowds to Dada Land with a pledge before they showed themselves. Like their shows in other part of the world, they prepared lots of stuffs, from banana to pillow. When we saw the properties, yes we knew that it will be awesome party.

Dada Life dropped their hits, such as “Born To Rage”, “Kick Out The Epic Mother F**ker”, and “One Smile”. All props they prepared was used from the beginning to the end. Both Olle and Stefan threw banana and champagne balloons to the crowd. They also gave smile mask when they played “One Smile” to the crowd and asked them to wear it. The crowd very enthusiast with the duo. They sang together with Dada Life.

As usual, Dada Life asked one person to wear the banana suit. One lucky crowd asked to get up on stage and next thing happen, he was showered with champagne! All people were screaming with fun. Front row crowd got some champagne splash from the stage. To end the performance, Dada Life gave small pillows to everybody to started biggest indoor pillow fight in Indonesia! Soon, everybody were busy hit people with pillow.

Two hours of fun with Dada Life was over. Dada Life prepared funny and colorful visuals during their performance. Funny cartoons and also lyrics appeared on screen behind them. All we can say is Dada Life prepare their performance very seriously. That night, Dada Life delivered a massive performance.

We also came to Enter The Void room to see the crowd there. The room was packed with clubbers. When we came, Iman was on deck. Known as one of the Techno DJ hero in Indonesia, Iman made sure that everybody dance and enjoy the music. He successfully brought every person in the room to dance. Around 6 AM, the crowd from Main Hall moves to Enter The Void to continue the party.
